Natural Gas delivers not only the lowest cost of operation but requires no refueling of any type, ever. Liquid Propane is readily available and powers with the simple push of a button.
Adjustable heat options
Choose the ideal heating level for your indoor or outdoor environment. Gas and Liquid Propane provide the highest amount of heat, up to 65,000 BTU/h. Ethanol delivers comfortable warmth up to 20,433 BTU/h.

Our concrete finish is crafted from a blend of green cement and recycled materials for a strong yet lightweight table. Specially formulated with Fluid Concrete Technology, our fire tables resist scratches, stains, mold and mildew. The smooth finish repels dust and debris, making cleanup easier. Our wood finish is made from Grade A teak, a naturally durable wood that withstands extreme weather without losing its strength or beauty.

EcoSmart Fire’s ethanol fireplaces are self-contained, burning bioethanol fuel that is housed within the stainless steel container. A flame regulator controls and stabilizes the flame. With a designated filling area, and easy shut off mechanism, you can ignite the flame and turn it off in a matter of seconds. View this quick demonstration video to help illustrate the process.
What are the benefits of using a bioethanol heater compared to heating your house with a reverse cycle air conditioner?
It’s important to understand the difference between “foundation” heating and occasional heating. Quite often these are two completely different yet complementary systems that work hand in hand. Reverse cycle air conditioning doesn't give you a beautiful flame and lifestyle benefits of an EcoSmart Fire. However, By combining reverse-cycle air conditioning and an EcoSmart Fire within your home you can have the ‘best of both worlds’ - effective heat and ambiance.
Can I uninstall my bioethanol fireplace and reinstall if I renovated?
Yes, you can do this by using a predetermined firebox with a bioethanol burner, which is the easiest way to install, refurbish and reinstall the fire again, due to its construction style and because it has no connections.
How safe are bioethanol fireplaces?
EcoSmart Fire’s operating tools, procedures, and proprietary technologies were developed with safety as our top priority. Made from 304-grade stainless steel, EcoSmart Fire’s ethanol fireplace burners go through a deep-draw fabrication process that eliminates the potential for dangerous leaks. Additionally, our patented filling point is separated from the ignition zone and engineered so that the jerry can spout is fully supported prior to releasing the fuel supply. This eliminates the usual splash and spills that would otherwise occur when fuel is decanted into the burner while simultaneously reinforcing the maximum fill line within the burner. EcoSmart Fire’s ethanol fireplaces release heat, carbon dioxide (the same stuff we exhale) and steam. Allowing you to enjoy a clean-burning flame without the soot, smoke, ash or other harmful substances emitted by traditional wood burning fireplaces. When selecting an installation location for your ethanol fireplace it is important to consider the required minimum room sizes and clearances. Are bioethanol fireplaces clearly marked with warning labels and safety advice?
All well-made bioethanol fireplaces will have clearly marked safety warnings, complete safety instructions and dedicated filling points and should comply with global regulations.
Is their heat output similar to a gas heater?
Burning bioethanol is similar to gas, but the room doesn't dry out like it does with gas - a more gentle, softer heat is created. Heat-wise, it depends on the models being compared. Some of our bioethanol burners output 15,000 BTU and can heat up to 60sqm of living space. Bioethanol is not, however, on an adjustable thermostat. Some may be turned up and down, but you can't control the room temperature in the same way as you do with gas on mains

EcoSmart Fire’s freestanding ethanol fireplaces are designed to be placed into the desired location, secured into position, and operated immediately.
